End of the Month for a Cause: Cycle For Survival

This January we will be raising money for Cycle for Survival, an organization which hosts indoor team cycling events across the country to raise funds for rare cancer research in honor of our “End of the Month for a Cause.”

Res/Title’s New York State Manager, Stephanie Mangels, will be riding alongside her cousin Lauren Singer at Cycle for Survival, in celebration of Lauren who is now cancer-free. Lauren was diagnosed in March of 2017 with Hodgkins Lymphoma and was treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

“This February, I’m excited and honored to ride alongside my cousin,” Stephanie said, explaining their team named “Bye Cancer, Love Felicia” which will be riding at the Equinox in New York City.

To participate, we asked everyone for their “Goal for 2018,” professional or personal.  For every submission received, Res/Title donated to Cycle for Survival!

“100% of every dollar raised goes directly to Memorial Sloan Kettering within 6 months to help people like Lauren,” said Stephanie.  Memorial Sloan Kettering is the world’s oldest and largest private cancer center. So far $147M has been raised by Cycle for Survival to beat rare cancers. Approximately 50% of people with cancer are fighting a rare cancer, and too often have limited or no treatment options.

“Thank you in advance for your support!” said Stephanie, “Together, we can bring new and better treatments to patients worldwide.”
